In Loving Memory

Michael Keith Russano

August 9, 1985 - May 22, 2021

Our dear friend and colleague, Michael Keith Russano, 35, of Long Island, New York, tragically passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Mike was a loyal, dedicated, and trusted colleague. A long-time friend and associate to many in Pantheon, Mike was known for his kind heart, keen intellect, and his friendly manor. Upon meeting Mike, his sincerity and his genuineness were immediately evident. He made friends easily and was well-liked by all who knew him.

Mike was a Senior Consultant with Pantheon since August 2020. During his tenure with Pantheon, Mike supervised work for U.S. Navy customers providing operations research, financial, and strategic analysis support. From touching the lives of those with whom he worked to the relationships he established with customers, Mike had an immediate and lasting impact on Pantheon.

Prior to joining Pantheon, Mike served as a U.S. Navy civilian employee for thirteen years. Much of that time he served as a Team Leader and senior member of the Naval Sea Systems Command’s Cost Engineering & Industrial Analysis Group. Among his many skills in the financial, cost estimating, and federal contracting disciplines, Mike was recognized as a subject matter expert on Economic Price Adjustment clauses used in shipbuilding contracts.

Mike graduated in 2007 from Loyola University in Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business. He held professional certificates from in Shipbuilding Operations and Technology from MIT and in Corporate Finance from Georgetown and was certified as a DAWIA Level III Acquisition Professional.

Mike is survived by his fiancé, Elizabeth Barrett, his parents, Richard and Jama Russano, siblings Richard Todd, Peter, and Christopher, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Mike’s death leaves a hole in our hearts. His smile, kindness, presence, and friendship will be sorely missed.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in Mike’s memory for his fiancé to assist with any financial burdens that she may face, https://gofund.me/cdd4a5e9.
